In the News: Prayer at the Fountain

Great night of prayer at the Fountain.

We were very surprised when during prayer we looked up to see news cameras everywhere surrounding us and filming our prayer time. We weren’t sure what was going on but we tried to stay focused and do what this group has done every week on Sunday nights: pray for our region and also for the country. I guess there were some that thought this was news worthy, and while the news piece said it was in response to the attempted assassination that isn’t exactly the full case.

We prayed in response to that and for all affected by that for sure, but this group, led by our faithful team members Andrew Tonkin and Lisa Tonkin, has been meeting every Sunday for the last year. We invite you to join us! Prayer is powerful. And our cities and our nations need the people of God to be praying more than ever. Here are some stills from the news piece.
