It's such a joy to look back on the year. What a delight to participate in catalyzing prayer, mission, and justice in our area! This year we’ve been able to engage with pop-up prayer tents, day or week-long prayer rooms, community prayer gatherings, online 24-7 prayer vigils, Burn nights, zoom prayers, partnering with local churches and ministries to provide prayer initiatives and teams (to name a few). The Lord led our team to engage the community through our monthly cross-denominational Table gatherings and leaning into Speak Up’s weekly writing workshops and various ministry events.
We could really use your help to keep going, as next year holds even more to come! We know there are SO many great ministries and nonprofits to give to, so give only where you feel led. But we wanted you to know a little more about what we do. If you believe in the incredible power of prayer, and that it is the birthing place of fruitful mission and change to individuals, families, and communities…consider supporting our work!
We’ve been in the process of trying to secure a space for a permanent prayer room in Rock Hill. A place where anyone can go at any time, no matter where they are (or aren’t) on their faith journey, and engage with Jesus in a dynamic, creative way. We have a donor for the building but we need funds for materials, supplies, renovations, and staffing! We love this work and will continue to follow where the Lord leads. Every little bit of your support helps tremendously. Would you consider a year-end gift, either to York County Prayer or Speak Up (our ministry to the vulnerable housed)? You can donate directly through those links or you can subscribe to our Substack publications, which also helps! We deeply thank you for your prayerful consideration.
